Patient Advocate Registration
Patient advocacy organizations may register up to 4 representatives to attend the 2013 Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium at a reduced rate. There is no onsite approval for the patient advocate rate.

This reduced registration category is reserved exclusively for patient advocates and is not intended for medical professionals. Individuals interested in registering under this category either work or volunteer for national not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations that
- Demonstrate a charitable mission
- Engage in patient advocacy activities
- Provide programs, services, information, and support for people with cancer
- Have a nonprofessional membership
- Do not offer CME or scientific programs for professionals
Please email your curriculum vitae or bio-sketch to patientadvocates@asco.org by January 17, 2013 to request to register at the Patient Advocate rate. If you are approved for the Patient Advocate rate, you will be directed to register online, using a unique registration code.
Individuals registered under this category are not eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance at the Symposium.
